Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge is located 5 miles south of Cayuga, North Dakota on Sargent County road #12. The refuge is on the edge of the Central Flyway and a total of 243 species of birds have been seen on the refuge.
Sprague Lake is part of the refuge and is located about 1 mile east of Silver Lake. Both offer fishing (walleye, northern pike, perch, bullhead, and carp), summer or winter.
