All weeds and grasses along regularly traveled Sargent, Dickey, Ransom and Richland County and Township roads must be mowed on or before October 1, 2023, by the landowner or operator. The mowing must have a 14-foot minimum swath and a maximum stubble height of 4 inches. Do not leave windrows. Please refrain from throwing hay on the roadway.
The list of designated county and township roads to be mowed is on file with the County Auditor.
Failure to comply with this order will result in the cost of mowing being charged to the landowner or operator as per the directive of the Township Board of Supervisors. Sargent County will charge $150 per 1/2 mile.
